Petition for The Ratification By The USA Of The UN Convention On The Protection Of The Rights Of All Migrant Workers And Members of Their Families On July 1, 2003, the Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and their Families entered into force. There is abundant evidence that worldwide documented and undocumented migrant workers – including a growing number of women – are providing key contributions in such sectors as agriculture, construction, high tech and (domestic) services. They are, however, increasingly subject to racism, discrimination, abuse and violent attacks. We, welcome the adoption of the Convention. The USA has not ratified nor signed on. We, the undersigned, therefore, call upon the Congress and the President of the United States of America to sign and ratify this UN Convention on the Protection of the Rights of ALL Migrant Workers and members of their Families
